Product Introduction

Gas-liquid filter mesh (also known as “demister mesh” or “mist eliminator mesh”) is a specially woven wire mesh used to separate liquid droplets from gas streams, remove mist, and ensure efficient gas-liquid separation in industrial processes.

Materials and Specifications

Materials: Primarily metal wires (e.g., stainless steel 304/316L, pure nickel, titanium, Monel)；plastic wires (e.g., PP, PTFE) or hybrid (metal + fiber) are also used for specific applications.

Wire Diameter: Typically 0.08–0.50 mm (round or flat wires)；multiple strands may be twisted for added strength.

Mesh Types and Sizes: Classified into Standard Type (SP), High-Efficiency Type (DP), High-Permeability Type (HP), etc.；aperture sizes range from 2×3 mm to 12×6 mm. Corrugated surfaces (e.g., “herringbone” pattern) are sometimes used to enhance separation efficiency.

Applications

Chemical Industry: Used in demister units for distillation/absorption towers to remove liquid entrainment, reducing material loss and equipment corrosion.

Environmental Protection: Treats industrial exhaust gases to remove water mist, oil mist, and pollutants.

Automotive & Electronics: Acts as a noise-dampening, shock-absorbing component in engines, or as an electromagnetic shielding device in electronic equipment.
